About the course

This welcome day is hosted by ACCORD and Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility, for those who have recently been appointed into a clinical research role in NHS Lothian or University of Edinburgh.

What you'll learn

By the end of this event you will learn how to:

• introduce the research landscape in NHS Lothian and understand where and how individual roles fit within this;
• raise awareness of the support structures and resources available to those working in clinical research;
• network and engage with colleagues across the organisation;
• inspire and motivate individuals in their new role.

Provisional programme

Who the course is for

This event is for clinical research support staff, delivery teams, researchers and academics working in clinical research in NHS Lothian (NHSL) or the University of Edinburgh (UoE). It is not open to attendees external to these organisations. 

Registration

This event is free-of-charge to attend, however registration is still required.

To be eligible to attend, please register using an NHS Lothian or University of Edinburgh email address.

Please note that the booking process includes a “Payment and Confirmation” step, but no payment is required.
