About

The NIHR Associate Principal Investigator Scheme is an opportunity to inspire our future research workforce. It is a six month, in-work, training opportunity, providing practical experience for health and care professionals interested in research. During the scheme, an Associate Principal Investigator is mentored by the study Principal Investigator and works through a checklist enabling them to experience a variety of research activities.

During this webinar, led by Julia Boyd and Jo Merrifield, Associate Principal Investigator Champions in Lothian, we will discuss the Associate Principal Investigator role, the potential advantages for you, and how to apply.

Target audience

This webinar is free-of-charge to attend.

Please note: the Associate PI Scheme is aimed at those who do not already have a fully-funded research role.
