This is a half-day course for health professionals who wish to develop skills in designing simple questionnaires but who have had very little previous experience.

Course outline

· When is a questionnaire important?

· The types of research questions that can be answered using a questionnaire

· The design of clearly worded questions with appropriate scales of measurement

· Question ordering and style
